Solidean 2026.1 Released

Solidean 2026.1: the first Community Edition, friction-free access to the exact core, plus zero-copy NumPy bindings.

Today we're releasing Solidean 2026.1, the first Community Edition of Solidean.

For the first time, the exact core is available as a friction-free download for learning, research, evaluation, and experimentation. No registration, no approval process.

What's New in 2026.1

Community Edition. Solidean 2026.1 introduces the Community Edition for non-commercial use. Functionally identical to the commercial core, it allows you to test and evaluate Solidean without any barriers. Just download and go.

Rewritten Python Bindings. The Python bindings have been completely rewritten with native NumPy support and zero-copy data exchange via the buffer protocol. Native NumPy arrays can be passed without copying, enabling high-throughput geometry pipelines directly from Python.

Robustness and Stability. This release includes additional hardening against pathological export edge cases, along with numerous fixes across import and export paths.

ARM64 Groundwork. Core arithmetic and platform abstraction layers have been refactored to enable upcoming AArch64 / ARM64 platform support. This is an important step toward the macOS, iOS, and Android support on our roadmap.

Looking Ahead

Solidean continues to be developed closely with early adopters. Feedback from production use cases directly shapes our roadmap: from advanced operations and extended bindings to broader platform support.

If mesh booleans are a load-bearing component of your system, this release makes evaluation straightforward.
